Cid's Baptism Stuff
It was Saturday, November 12th and a day to be remember. Cidnie was baptized and became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She looked like an angel.
Grandma and Grandpa Pope bought her a set a of scriptures with her name on them, and Grandma and Grandpa Schwendiman bought her a new white dress with shoes. Mom made her a special baptism basket with things to help her prepare and remember her special day. She used a white basket with a pink interior (her favorite color) and wrote a special poem to explain all the items.
Mom also was asked to speak at her Baptism and she was very happy to do that.
The basket included:
White decorative soap
White bath scrunchie/sponge
White ribbon
Pearl barrettes
Pearl Headband
White heart pillow
Sterling silver heart pendant and earrings
Clear, small, white gift box
Compact mirror
White towel
Wooden, white memory/treasure box
Empty white picture frame
