Simple Balance Yard & Garden I
Several years ago I wanted some window boxes to plant flowers in. The problem was I couldn’t find any that were long enough, so I turned to the Internet. What I found was a happy accident that has blessed me twice over. I found some that were white vinyl and self-watering. They were so wonderful. Once I got them planted I just filled the planter through a single tube that had a measure stick in it telling me when it was full.
I was sad to leave all my window boxes when we moved back to Arizona as they were attached to the home. But last year I bought some planter boxes for my patio. I got them from the same place I’d ordered the first and they are the same self-watering type as my old boxes. I absolutely love them. I still have some learning about Arizona year round gardening, but I truly love these boxes. They are virtually indestructible, survived my move and make watering a breeze. With the watering coming from the base up it makes it possible for anyone anywhere to be a successful gardener.

Holly, this is the best idea ever! I have always wanted window boxes for my house, but knew they’d be tough to water just right… Not these, apparently! I’m going to get some for my house! Thanks for the tip!
