Gingerbread Houses

Filed under: Family, Holidays, Motherhood, Sharing — holly.schwendiman @ 10:49 am

It’s always a wonderful thing to have something to “show” for your family time over the weekend. Here’s mine this week:

The kids had a blast putting together their Christmas village. Taylor kept saying over and over how his house was “perfeck” and they were fascinated with the church’s stained glass windows. Who knew they’d love suckers a different way! *wink*

  1. Wow, that’s awesome! I’ve always wanted to make a gingerbread house but never did. We didn’t have traditions or family time when I was growing up. I need to learn for my children!

Thanks. I made my first one when I was in Jr. High in Economics class. I was so impressed that they were so easy to make! My mom started making some with her grandkids that live close a few years ago and it’s their favorite thing to do.

  2. We’ve never made one like this, this is probably the best one I’ve ever seen done at home. Color me impressed!

Awww shucks *made me blush*! I just knew both kiddos needed their own so a church seemed to pull it all together in one village. ;o)
