So it’s Monday, December 18th. You have a few things on your list done, but maybe you’re stressing over those last minute gift ideas or holiday cards. Here’s two tips that may make your life much easier and both are free, easy and quick.
Create a slideshow to drop into your blog, e-mail or webpage for the holiday greeting card. Slide is the answer with code to copy for a blog and links to use for sharing. Voila - you’re done in a few minutes and it looks so professional and neat with themes, etc.
Create a gift CD of pictures as the perfect gift. Picasa is a free tool from Google that not only organizes your photos and make quick edits and effects fun and easy, but it also makes creating a gift CD as simple as one click! It makes quick work out of the gift CD.
Now smile really big because it’s only Monday and you still have 6 days to Christmas which is plenty of time to incorporate both these ideas!

6 days?! I need more time!! Not really, I need to buy candy and two gift certificates to resturants so I guess that’s not too much work. Thanks for the Picture CD idea!! Maybe some people will be getting extra gifts. ;o)

Holly…those were wonderful tips! I’m done with my Christmas gifts for the most part, just a couple odds and ends to get. But the Photo CD idea is an excellent idea as an add-in for grandparents and other extended family! I may have to do that!
And what more do most family members want anyway but shared pictures/memories?!

Trust me…this woman speaks wise words!! I was very worked up over not having family photos or our annual Christmas letter done for our Christmas cards. I used Picassa and did the Gift CD slideshow…it took less than two hours - it would have taken less time but some photos weren’t digital and I had to scan and edit them….but in a snap..it was done…and I don’t know about you but I love getting pictures at Christmas from people I don’t see every day.

You should be a scrapbooking consultant! Your ideas are great and you could earn money (or free product) by suggesting them! Have you heard of Creative Memories? Do you scrapbook regularly?
