Why is that the only one who finds any of the really good articles I’ve written in the past are spammers?

I only post a couple of times a week, yet my posts still manage to attract over 200 spam a week.
Mine has gone off the charts lately, and I can see how my husband’s post of moderating over 4,000 spam comments can really happen.
So sad. More spam filtration will have to take place in the near future I’m afraid.

I here you, I have new spam on some really old stuff, I get all excited that I have a new comment on something really good i wrote and then realize it’s spam!
Yup, now I just know anything that comes up on old stuff is multiple spam messages, but it really is a bummer!

Hey Holly, check out the bad behavior plugin. That along with Akismet will reduce your spam to one of two a day, and even they won’t reach your blog.
