Why Pageants Have a Bad Name

On the upside it’s great training material for what NOT to do if you’re the one being interviewed. *grin* Seriously, how much work was it for the host to keep composure after that?! W.O.W.

  1. I just saw this on YouTube today. I was totally cringing for her to end! She made absolutely no sense! Poor girl.

    It was painful to watch.

  2. My husband sent me this link. I was mortified. And yes, kudos to the interviewer for not completely losing it.

I am sure she was nervous, but actually she came across as one of those people who wouldn’t be able to locate the U.S. on a map. ;)

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. She’s obviously been well versed in key interview wording and beauty but lacked all the common sense to put it together.

  3. I feel that is more important to persue a education , them the beuty pagent.
just kidding. I felt so bad for her, I don’t think she paid attention to the question, sounds like she had the answer well rehersed.

ROFL - I think it’s sad that the answer showed so much “answer training” but no common sense or understanding. It proves to me that we can be trained without meaning or understanding.

  4. Okay, I admit I laughed.

    Okay, I laughed a lot.

I felt worse for the girl who finished BEHIND her in the competition though. She must be REALLY freaking out.

    Ha! Good point!! :)

I screwed up pretty bad once on a pageant question, but it was nowhere near that bad;)
