  1. Thanks for those links! I couldn’t find the soup label on the website anymore. It looks new and improved as well. :)

  3. I’m trying to download the Draw near power point file, and it wouldn’t show me anything. Can you email it to me? Or any other suggestions. I do have power point. I’m assuming it would be ok for a presidency sunday lesson also, right? I’m looking for something to set the perfect tone for the Christmas season. Thanks for any help.

    Hi Chari,
Make sure you’re choosing to “save” the download and not just open it.

  4. Hi, I’m not a blogger so I don’t really know how to tell what’s going on here but I was just wondering if anyone else has found this site or only the the previous two messages are so far the only ones? That is sad because there are lot’s of neat ideas and links here. Thanks for setting this up. I will be telling my friends about this site. Happiness, Molly :D

Hi Molly, my statistics show that people are finding and targeting these resources pages but not many leave comments. Thanks for the compliments! I have so much to get transfered over that some days I feel like I’ll never get it done!!

    Hi Holly,

It has come to my attention that your blog was a source for a quote that was used at a youth conference. The quote is
found at http://www.hollyscorner.com/blog/wp-content/files/StrengthenYouth.pdf on your website. I would like to share with
you additional information that might weigh in on your decision whether you retain that quote on your site.

This link will direct you to the church news that contains the following statement:
    http://www.desnews.com/cn/view/1,1721,175001236,00.html?

    Pres. Packer refutes quote
    April 28, 2001

President Boyd K. Packer, acting president of the Quorum of the Twelve, has released
the following concerning a statement he is said to have made:”We continue to receive reports
of the distribution of a quote attributed to me which begins, ‘The youth of the Church today
were generals in the war in heaven,’ and ends with the statement that when they return to heaven
‘all in attendance will bow in your presence.’
“I did not make that statement. I do not believe that statement.
“The statement, on occasion, has been attributed to others of the First
Presidency and the Twelve. None of the Brethren made that statement.”
President Packer has sent a letter to mission presidents requesting their
help in clarifying this matter among missionaries and members, and has had posted
on some Internet sites carrying the statement a notice that he did not make this declaration.

I hope this is helpful to you. The state that put the youth conference together has already been
    notified.
    Thanks- Ann

I want to thank Ann for pointing out that one of my older files still had reference to this quote. I learned for myself shortly after this lesson that the quote was unfounded but didn’t realize I still had it in any of my materials I’ve shared. Please make note of this important change!
