Talent

I’ve referred to myself previously as a talent nomad. I enjoy learning new things and love doing things myself so keep challenges coming.

Resume:
As a young girl I learned to play the piano, dance and sing. As I grew I continued with music and dance lessons taking on the flute and ballet on pointe. I dabbled in art earning a few awards and got into drama in high school sporting several awards at local and state levels. I used the music and dance talents to choreograph and create a few performances and teach a few lessons. I cultivated most of my artistic talent into the beauty industry with my cosmetology license but found it spilled over into everything including do it yourself home projects to crocheting to cake decorating to designing. My real love now is tied into my computer creating, publishing and designing all sorts of stuff. I’ve received paying gigs for a lot of what I do and feel like I’m just scratching the surface.

  2. I purchased a cake that looked just like that one for my mom’s 70th! I was so impressed that a non-english speaking migrant working at Smith’s could create such a masterpiece. Yours is great too!

    Cool! Thanks for sharing. ;)

  3. Hello Holly,

your cake is absolutely fabulous! You must be very proud! It’s just lovely.

How much time did it take you to make it?

    Nicole

Aww shucks - thanks! It was a two hour class, the first hour was spent practicing making roses, the actual final decorating was probably a 40 minute or so time frame.
